Mauritius is a gravure printed wallpaper that has been adapted from an early 19th century French printed cotton design retaining the best elements of the original design in a simplified open and graceful composition. It has been painted with a soft watercolour technique to create soft tone work and subtle texture using colours such as antique red coral and ivory.
