Chinoiserie designs were popular in Europe in the late 18th and early 19th Century. These were later re-interpreted as toile de jouy designs in the 19th Century. Engraved with a subtle block texture to give a softer more contemporary feel Pillemont Toile is printed in classic blues aqua and modern cerise and black to create an elegant blend of old and new. Also available as a woven fabric and wallpaper.
