Caverley is based on an early 19th century hand block print depicting birds perched on a leafy bough with full blossoms. Although the principle bird has a distinctly exotic appearance the design is typically English in style. The original print effect created by the blocks has been retained to achieve a rich textural fabric suitable for curtains and upholstery.
